No matter which of the five Nordstrom Rack Houston locations you visit, scouring the sales floor for hot deals can become time consuming. We don’t all have the luxury of shopping and bargain-hunting for hours on end, and sometimes it can be tricky to know how to find the best deals. If you’ve been to any of the Nordstrom Rack Houston locations, say Nordstrom Rack Katy or the Nordstrom Rack in the Willowbrook Mall, you’ve probably noticed that they have a plethora of inventory, which is both a blessing and a curse! We love saving time and money, so if you’re in our camp, keep in mind these tips for getting the best bang for your buck at any Nordstrom Rack in Houston, or when shopping their website online:

There are two ways to save at Nordstrom Rack in Houston: by shopping for the best price or shopping for the best deal. What’s the difference? The fun of buying things from a Nordstrom Rack sale is that you have access to simple items at a low price point — think wardrobe staples like camis, t-shirts, and underwear for $20 or less — but you also have the opportunity to shop name brands and high-end designer items at a fraction of their full retail cost, which we categorize as the best deals.

If you’re looking for some retail therapy on the cheap, you’ll want to focus on finding items that have the lowest price tags. When you enter a Nordstrom Rack in Houston, first check if there are any clearance racks; these will have the lowest priced items, and you could also find some diamond-in-the-rough designer deals. They’re often organized by size, so you can go directly to the section of the clearance rack that will fit you and give it a once over for anything that strikes your fancy.

Beyond the clearance rack, if you’re looking for low-cost items, you’ll want to look for buildable wardrobe staples, like t-shirts, tank tops, and their athleisure wear is also often heavily discounted and affordable. 

At any Nordstrom Rack sale in Houston, you’ll also find a fantastic selection of shoes, accessories, and health & beauty products at a savings. Shoes at Nordstrom Rack Houston locations are organized by size, so similarly to clothing, you can browse all the styles on sale in your size relatively quickly. 

Nordstrom Rack sale accessories often have their own bin, which admittedly can be a bit messy, but all the lowest priced items are at least in the same place. Comb through wallets, card holders, wristlets, and bags to find the perfect piece or two at a savings.

The best deals at any Nordstrom Rack sale come in the form of designer deals. These items won’t necessarily come with the lowest price tags in the store, but the quality and savings are second to none. If you have the means to treat yourself to something truly luxurious and long-lasting, here’s how to get the most for your money at any Nordstrom Rack in Houston:

Look for racks labeled as designer, runway, or a particular name brand you love. This is where you’ll find high-end apparel for a fraction of their full retail cost. Sure, you may still end up spending $100-$200, but for items that retail upward of $500, some closer to $1,000, you’re getting an impressive, durable piece of expertly-made apparel at an incredible price. 

In terms of accessories, whether you’re at the Nordstrom Rack Houston Galleria or a standalone Nordstrom Rack in Houston, you’ll find designer accessories in glass cases sometimes up to 80% off: think things like Louis Vuitton scarves, Salvatore Ferragamo wallets, and other high end brands that normally cost a fortune!

Houston Nordstrom Rack locations usually have a vast selection of designer sunglasses and handbags on display that are easy to spot. Designer shoes are kept separate from the regular shoes at any Nordstrom Rack sale; they will be labeled as such and organized by size, and this is where you can find Gucci slides or the perfect, red-bottomed Christian Louboutin heels you’ve always dreamed of at prices that will have you laughing all the way to the bank!

There’s nothing like retail therapy from the comfort of your own home! The same principles as shopping in-person at Nordstrom Rack in Houston apply, except the process becomes even easier. Repeat after me: filters are our friends!

 To find items from a Nordstrom Rack sale online that are the cheapest, simply choose the department you want to shop and filter by “price: low to high.” This will give you all of the items in that category arranged from least to most expensive, and where you’ll find things at bonkers low prices.

 To find items that are the best deal, click on the department you want to shop and filter by “percent off.” On June 7, I filtered women’s pants by percent off and found a pair of Vince wide-leg trousers at a whopping 88% off the original $1,295.00 price tag. Now THAT’S a great deal!

If you simply want to browse the entire Nordstrom Rack sale selection, click on Clearance and you’ll be able to view all their current markdowns, good, bad, and ugly. You can further filter with the left bar column in any combination of ways to help narrow down the selection or try and find specific items you’re hoping to snag at a discount.
